Laptop for DD15

Trying to be organised for Christmas.
My DD would like a laptop for Xmas. In the past my STBXH would research and choose any tech pressies and I've no idea.
Ideally she would like a rose gold MacBook but budget wise that's not happening!
Could anybody make any recommendations please?
