Need black kitchen worksurface - granite? Corian?

Don't want one with sparkly bits through it.
Anyone used Corian or Zodiaq?

would just like to say I had a black surface in my old kitchen, and it was a nightmare! It did have some flecks in it, but was a matt surface, and it alsways looked as if it was covered in crumbs! (maybe I didn't wipe up enough though??) OIt was corian.
