Wow - dummies to die for!!

Today I saw a little girl (maybe 9/10 months) dressed all in red and purple with a RED Avent dummy (the plastic, I mean, not the teat). The mum seemed to be from West Africa and couldn't speak much English so I couldn't ask if she bought the dummy there or here in England. Has anyone else seen these?

MandyD - My ds has red and blue Avent dummies, both with yellow handles. Readily available in my area in Boots, Toys R Us, supermarkets.

Yes we have red Avent dummies with bees on bought in our local chemist!! Goergeous!

Thanks ladies! On the same subject, we LOVE the crystal Ulti-MAM soothers: real designer dummies in such gorgeous jewel colours. I travel miles in search of unusual colours/designs and when ds was younger we had soother savers (straps) to match. My favourite was in Rasta colours - red & gold & green but unfortunately couldn't find another to replace it. Phoned MAM and they said they could do one by mail order, but he'd outgrown them by then.

And Sainsbury's had Ulti-MAM with John Lennon cartoons and quotes on them...

Sorry if this seems a bit of an obsession, because DS is such a dummy addict (has promised to give up when he's 3½ I seem involved in this constant quest for decent looking ones!!

MandyD - we too love the MAM dummies - we have the purple-jade combination, the neon yellow-orange, a couple of the totally deep red ones - they are true works of art and I too travel for miles when I track a source down
