sky broadband- can i have your review on it please

i have the sky package and i was thinking about getting broadband with sky aswell- is it worth it?

We've had Sky broadband since October and have no problems. Went from paying £20 a month to just a fiver! Have a look at the skyuser website if you want more reviews.

I ordered Sky Broadband on 9th Jan phoned with MAC code on same day and they gave me a date for an engineer to come out last Friday. Engineer didn't come, phoned Sky they said I hadn't given a MAC code and an Engineer hadn't been booked because it wasn't on the system.

I spent 45 minutes on the phone (at 8p/min), spoke to 6 different people who all told me different things; the information wasn't passed on to the Engineer, the system wasn't working, I hadn't phoned in the first place, it was someone elses' fault, I had rearranged the installation date 45 minutes earlier (I have been on the phone since then!!!), the router had not been ordered. Passed round in circles.

In the end I gave in and gave them my MAC code again and rebooked another date 17th Feb for the Engineer. I received 4 letters from Sky today one was to say MAC incorrect. Phoned to check and due to a "school boy error" they have imputted it incorrectly again so I would have to start again with the order. I said I tell you what FORGET IT!

If it's this bad before what would it be like if you encountered a problem once your with them?
