WHO WILL HELP ME FIND A SHAWL/ STOLE THING FOR BLACK TIE 'DO'?

I HAVE A FLOATY OLIVE/ KHAKI SILK EVENING GOWN FROM MONSOON, AND NEED A PEWTER/ SILVERY COLOUR SHAWL/ STOLE(IS TAHT WHAT THEY'RE CALLED?)

BTW, IT IS EMPIRE LINE AND FULL LENGTH.

ANY IDEAS?

Have bought from cashmere company before. Lots of different colours.

I needed a silver one and got a length of crushed velvet from a fabric shop and just sewed the edges together so it was velevty both sides.

i'm no good at accessorising , tbh. i can envisage an organza shawl looking ok, but not sure if a pashmina is quite right. mrsb, i dont sew

it's not eyewateringly sparkly, it just kind of catches the light.

I was looking for dd yesterday. The best selection I found was Debenhams, although they didn't have anything that was 'just right'.

Coast have some nice ones.
