Anyone been to jkuk?

Has anyone been to a branch of these baby shops? They are in Bournemouth, Portsmouth and Southampton. I want to look around for some ideas before our next baby comes along and wondered if one of them was worth a visit?

We went to the one in Bournemouth last year to buy our pram - its not a huge shop but has a reasonable stock and we got a good deal on a mamas and papas travel system. The sales assistant was really helpful and very pleasant. We liked it beacuse it was an 'independent' ie not a big chain shop so it had a bit more variety of stock - we live 120 miles away in Plymouth (family in B'mth) and have to make do with the big chains, Mothercare etc so don't get to see other products. If I remember rightly the shop is Winton way and on a corner.

I've been to the Portsmouth one a couple of times. Staff are stuck up bitches. Not sure why they have that attitude considering they are right on the edge of a council estate.

I was after a car seat & couldn't get one to fit our car, so went there. They ignored us when we walked in, just stood there gossipping. Gave me a filthy look when I asked for help. Were incredibly blunt with me when I asked about car seats to fit in my car. There were 3 members of staff there, but none could help because it was the woman who knows how to fit the car seats day off.

I have told everyone I know who has a baby/is pg not to go there.

Looks nice in the window (bournemouth one...) never been in though!!!
