My First Leappad - worth the money? suitable for a 2 yo?

woolies have my first leappad plus 3 books going cheap at the moment

Are they any good?
My LO is 2 - is he too young?

We bought one for DS2 (who was 3 in November) for Christmas - he absolutely LOVES it - especially as DS1 (who's 6 1/2) helps him with it. It comes out EVERY day and I certainly think it was worth the money.

Just FYI - Argos also have a good deal on them too - buy the Leappad and Software is half price.

my DS had one the christmas just after he turned 2 and loved it, always played it!
We got him the next one up for christmas and he likes that just as much!

i don't really get them
at 2, you'd still have to sit with them and 'read' the book, so why not read a real book?
