Protection for coloured hair in sun - anyone recommend ?

I need something to spray on my beautiful red locks to stop them fading in the sun. I have bought a cap for holiday and weekends, but not ideal for work (!) and like to have a walk at lunchtime if the weathers nice.

Thanks

I think a brand called Keratese, prob spelt wrong, is supposed to be good, expensive though but recommended in mags etc. Have a look in Boots maybe, they have loads of stuff in there.

Thanks Oliveoil. I did have a quick rummage in boots but there were so many products I got bamboozled (if that's a word!).
Am going to have a trim today so will ask in the hairdresser.

I think you can only buy Keratese in hairdressers anyway - probably why it is so expensive! I saw a pack in Vidal Sassoon in a case with shampoo, conditioner and a leave in spray, maybe yours will do somehting similar.

I am a sucker for any pots and potions.

Hairdresser to Redken and she recommended a sun milk but none in stock so she is ordering in for me. And did I ask the price ?? Pea brain.

dove have one that is cheap in superdrug at the moment. You spread it through after washing and then just dry it.I haven't tried it in the sun just as a conditioner but it is a colour protector
