There was a thread on here not so long ago which talked about that stuff you can stick on to windows to make it look like frosted glass.. there was a link to a website that sold this stuff.. can't seem to find it now. Can anyone remember which thread it was/post a link to the website or give me its name?

Thanks in advance..

We have made one of our windows have the frosted effect but we used a spray that we purchsed from Robert Dyas. Not sure where you are but they have quite a few shops (and DH works for them!)

Brume is the company you need. The film is not particularly cheap, but extremely good, and you get lots of designs to choose from. It's much better than the spray-on stuff (we've had both).

We did that too, kid.

For the glass above our front door to have just the number frosted. It worked really well and looks like it's been done professionally.

I think you can get the spray from any DIY shop.

Just found the spray and it's called Humbrol glass etch.
I found this site that sells it

Tarka - On the strength of the recommendations on the other thread I got the Brume stuff and it was fantastic ... very pricey ( IMO ) but well worth it .... I am now looking for other things to frost !!
