Thats it really. I am the least technically minded person in the world closely followed by dp. Had JVC camcorder for 4 years and never transferred over to a video but now have ds and the camcorder tapes are piling up I would like to make a vhs video. I have lost the manual tho. What I have is a telly with one scart output, a video/dvd combi (samsung) with 2 scart outputs, a jvc camcorder with an av wire connecting to a scart via the yellow, red and white wire things that plug into it, 2 scart cables aside from camcorder connector one and a contraption I was flogged the other day-a scart 37 video controller-basically loads of places to plug scart cables into-is meant to fit my purpose but instructions confuse the hell out of me. There, I told you I was useless. If anyone can make any sense out of my waffle I admire you let alone tell me how to do it but I live in hope.... Thanks

you connect the camera to the video and play what's on the small tape through the telly, and stick a vidoe tape in and press rec on the video, so you are recording what you watching, makes sense?
the cable you connect it with should have three plugs on one end, marked white yellow and red and these go into the video recorder.
