John Lewis Milton Keynes or John Lewis High Wycombe - which is easiest?

Planning a trip tomorrow and have to take ds (9 months) with me. I'm hoping to buy a fair number of bulky items so want to go to one with ample easy parking close by.
MK is much nearer to me, but I always seem to get lost when I go there. I've only seen HW from the motorway but it looks like it has lots of parking.
Help me decide!

High Wycombe is small and only does 'home and leisure' stuff - furnishing fabrics but no haberdashery, no clothes.

Never been to High Wycombe but live in MK and always found that fine. They're really useful so why not phone first and check they have what you need...

oh, and no makeup, and no baby stuff either.

In fact it's John Lewis without the fun bits.

We did do our wedding list there though, and it was ideal for that.

It looks really big from the motorway (although my eyesight isn't very good ). I'm after lots of lighting, baby stuff, a handbag, and some fabric, so I guess that rules HW out. Does anyone know if MK does lighting?

it looks big from the m'way but it's only one and a half floors.

MuffinMclay · 30/01/2007 14:33

Misdee - Welwyn is my nearest store but it is a bit too small. Plus, if I get really carried away and buy something that needs to be delivered they won't do it to here. Stupid really - we're about 15 miles from Welwyn but only MK (about 30 miles away) will deliver to us. I buy things all the time from the store in MK, but I've never actually visited myself.

MK does everything - clothes, household, beauty, kids, exercise, electricals etc..

and they have a personal shopper too if you fancy a treat (or at least they used to have)

really, how odd.
