Home phone recommendations...

I want to get a new home phone that has a quiet ring (or one you can turn the volume down on) so it doesn't wake my baby up! A cordless phone would be good with a built in answer phone. Any recommendations? Does such a thing exist??

A bit late but I have a 2010 Panasonic cordless phone with answer phone built in and you can set the volume of the ringer. I don't know the model but it's six years old and it wasn't even that expensive (about £30) so that must be the standard?

I have an old Panasonic cordless, we have it on silent in our bedroom but rings downstairs as DH works night shifts and needs to sleep during the day when the spam calls come through.

Thanks, since posting this I realised that our current phone can do all of these things I just didn't know it!! My dad has sorted out all the settings for me.
