What do you recommend for this season - NOT SUB_ATOMIC POWER WATER GUNS!!!

Personally, I only let the children take things they won't mind losing, otherwise I spend the whole time having to keep an eye on their stuff and intervening when other kids try to nick it.

Top recommendation -- Greek and Turkish shops sell yoghurt in 1.5 kilo buckets (even have little handles) for much less than Sainsburys. Depending on how much yoghurt you eat, you can have enough buckets to keep you going all summer. Also empty lemonade bottles.
