So I think my exceedingly reliable Citreon Xsara Piccaso is on it's last legs.
I'm looking for a family car for four with great boot space.
I like the look the suv type cars such as the kuga, kadjar and sportage.
What would you lovely mnetters recommend?

From my experience, and I know it might have been a 'one off' dodgy car, but the cs I experienced everytime it broke (all within 2yrs- under warranty etc) was hideous. Seat belt and air bags failed. Then car broke down ALL THE TIME, about 12 different times, always at the worst possible time, and no one seemed to understand how dangerous and scary it was! They kept saying nothing was wrongHmm. Turned out it was something to do with the cpu- I think that's what it's called- the computery dashboard bit!

So yeah, don't get a peugeot 3008.

We decided to massively downsize to a Yaris as I struggled to park the 3008 and although the cars massively lacking in space, it's so reliable I can't face trading it in! Not sure if that'd resonates in their bigger cars too though!

I love my Audi A3. Lots of boot space & comfortably seats 4 adults. Not an SUV but it's so great to drive & has an excellent safety rating.

Kia Sportage and the Nissan Qashqai are good ones to go for
