Car radio help, please!

I have an Fiat Panda and want to change the radio. started looking into it and on the fiat forum someone said you need a radio code to install the new unit.
Where do I find that code?! I didnt buy from new - it's second hand.

Are you fitting an aftermarket stereo or a different Fiat one? You are only likely to need a code for the Fiat one. If all else fails Fiat should be able to provide you with a code.
