Should i buy another cot mobile?

My 5 month ds managed to break his cot mobile.I will now lower his mattress level, but i am not sure whether to buy another mobile.
Roughly till what age are babies entertained by cot mobiles???

Get a normal mobile and hang it from the ceiling - Flensted make the best ones. If you get boats or birds or something rather than a specific baby one it'll stay in his room for ages.

I agree, put it on the ceiling.
I also put big colourful posters/sheets of wrapping paper on the wall beside dd's cot, out of reach obviously, that she loves to look at
