Help me magnify this important text on my Kindle!!

I am reading Stephen Kings It and have got to the point where Henry Bowers finds a note in the glove compartment of the car that his dead friend is driving- near end of the book. The notes are written in tiny letters and I cant magnify them. I have successfully done this with other books by holding my finger down on the section for 2 seconds and then it appears on a separate page large enough to read. This isn't working and I cant continue the story!!!
Can anyone help or at least tell me what the hell it says. Driving me nuts

Try putting two fingers onto the screen and sweeping them in opposite directions - this should increase the size of the text

Thanks - I tried this which just makes the main body of text bigger but not these blasted notes. Cant find any info on internet at all.

Erm - actual magnifying glass? Google the note?

Husband just opened it on a lap top and this method worked. Thanks, I can go to bed and carry on reading now. Cheers
