My dentist recommends the Sonicare one, but it is very expensive.

zippitippitoes · 25/01/2007 22:00

I have one of thoise disposable ones with rubber sticks in it that vibrate

ZZMum · 25/01/2007 22:01

I have sonic one they are oftenhalf price and I got it for 50 quid and I love it... it has cleared up my bleeding gums and made them loads whiter... love it!!

weepootleflump · 25/01/2007 22:02

I have a Sonicare (recommended by my dentist as well) and it's great. I got mine pretty cheap as boots were selling off the older models.

StrangeTown · 26/01/2007 13:34

Syler - I have Oral B at mo, and it has gone duff too. I went to Boots today and bought a Sonicare at £11.66!

It did not have a price so took it to counter and that was price that came up. The Boots man was very shocked and said if I didn't want it he would buy it. I will report back on how it compares to Oral B

StrangeTown · 26/01/2007 13:35

Sorry Skyler

Skyler · 26/01/2007 13:56

Oooh, thank you everyone. I feel better now .
So general consensus is Sonicare. Great. I will trek into my Boots next week. I wonder if I could get a bargain like you StrangeTown. That is a bargain!!

Strangetown £11.99

StrangeTown · 26/01/2007 15:01

I know! Not even £11.99 Weepootle - only £11.66!! Can't complain at that can you?
It is an Elite 4600 or something, so it is an older model, but still a bargain I feel.
They have them behind the current models in both the Boots I have been to. You may have to root, but give it a go.

Skyler · 26/01/2007 15:02

Hmm, I think I might go tomorrow actually...

They didn't have any . Oh well, I have seen a few on ebay so I might try to get one next month.
How is the new brush Strangetown?

That's a shame Skyler. Only used it a few times, but like it so far. It has an intro program for first 2 weeks to allow your gums to get used to it. Teeth feel very smooth after, more so than using my Oral B - feels like you have had a clean at the Dentist. I'll see if it makes a difference to whiteness over next few weeks.

Skyler · 28/01/2007 17:00

Oooh, I am jealous now. You should try and get some more and ebay them at that price!!
