Hi

thanks for those of you who replied below - have spent even more time on my kiwi explorer and have worked out how to make up the carrycot bit and managed to fold the whole thing down properly and if I take off the toddlet seat it all goes in the boot of my fiat seceinto - hope you are impressed - I am!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway I don't have a double raincover does anyone know if a E3 cover will fit an explorer well enough for me to buy one otherwise I will have to order one from NZ - time delay, actually I'd like to see a photo of it in toddler mode with raincover on. Also cheapest place to buy replacement tyres? I live in Surrey near Heathrow if anyone is nearer enough for me to come and try their raincover on my pushchair - just a thought!

So far no reply from Phil & ted in NZ to my questions

TIA

No the E3 is velcro on and cannot fit the old explorer, it may be possible to get a universal tandem raincover to fit it though...

Hmm I can get one fron NZ then, just hope the VAT duty etc isn't too much what about the panniers will they fit on the explorer?????

TIA

Hi,
I will need a double buggy in December when my second baby arrives.
What do you all think of the phil and teds explorer? How easy is it to use, and pack up to put in the boot (I have a Golf). Is it easy to manouvre around town and up curbs? (I am very small!)
Thanks

There are lots of Phil and Ted fans here! I'm only small but find my E3 really easy to manouvre, up and down kerbs and in through doorways and up shop aisles..fantastic compared to the conventional double buggies I've tried out. Ours fits into our car boot easily (Peugeot 306).
If you do a search for E3 you should come up with lots of info on it here.
