I've seen the \link{Sleeping Beauty Large Magical Castle\Disney one} which looks good

Any recommendations?

Or get the cardboard one from Ecotopia, and paint it a lovely shiny pink with her. That's what I did for DD2.

Thelittlesoldiersmummy · 23/01/2007 20:58

Hi My Sisters DD is the same she got her the littlepeople castle its pink ! but maybe a tad young for a 4 year old

morningpaper · 23/01/2007 21:03

I like the look of the cardboard one but does it offer ROOMS as such? We are going to be wanting rooms for marrying princess in and lying on beds with them

(I assume this is a Sleeping Beauty reference)

what about the playmobil one?, dd has it and loves it.

here

this one isn't made anymore but its the one we got last christmas. their new one is slightly different in that the castle itself is smaller but there are 2 add on rooms for it, which make it a bit more expensive.

we went for playmobil as it can be easily added to at other birthdays etc, there's a bedroom set, bathroom, dining table, wedding and so on.

cazzybabs · 23/01/2007 21:06

Anything by le van toy is good...but they are expensive!

PrincessPeaHead · 23/01/2007 21:10

I saw a very pink and princessy one in ELC the other day

Hulababy · 23/01/2007 21:11

DD's friend has the one you linked too. Not seen it close up, but the girls all play with it and appear to like it. They are aged 4 and 5.

DD has a fab one from Disney World, shown here , here and \link{the inside here}

Seems it is only available from the Disney Parks itself. Was approx £60 when converted over, but it is reasonably big and came with 5 or 6 prince/princess couples plus other accessories.

Might be available on ebay?

Hulababy · 23/01/2007 21:11

I have the worlds most princess obsessed 4 year old

can I recommend the playmobil csatle with all the bits PLUS some princess polly pockets from Disney shop

dd2 plays with the castle/princess pollys ALL, ALL The TIME

bubblerock · 23/01/2007 21:14

I saw This one the other day, it's wooden so should be pretty sturdy - good price too!
Here are some codes for blooming marvellous, not sure if you can use them both in one transaction though -
MTVA - 10% off
AB7F - Free P&P

morningpaper · 23/01/2007 21:15

the playmobil castle is EXPENSIVE

Enid don't you live near me? Can't I just send my dd to your house during the day?

Surfermum · 23/01/2007 21:16

Not a castle, but I saw a lovely dressing gown in M&S today with PRINCESS embroidered on the back and a small Disney princess picture on the front

lucykate · 23/01/2007 21:16

it is expensive but has been worth every penny, we got it from mailorderexpress for £70 last year

cazzybabs · 23/01/2007 21:17

Mind oyu I am not convinced all this princess stuff is good for them - dd1 was distaught when I told her it was really looking unlikely she would ever be a princess!

evamum · 23/01/2007 21:17

What about this one, this is a big pic but you can see it here as well.

Enid · 23/01/2007 21:18

I bought mine off ebay for £60 with all the bits

result

you should come round, we have the castle, a mountain of pollys/barbies and dressing up clothes

plus a frantically eager dd2 who insists all children play obsessive princess games

morningpaper · 23/01/2007 21:20

someone link to the playmobil one

the ones I've been finding are a bit MANLY

Hulababy · 23/01/2007 21:24

Playmobile palace - but on a US site.

lucykate · 23/01/2007 21:25

this is the new stuff from playmobil

Enid · 23/01/2007 21:31

and they live in our castle too

Hulababy · 23/01/2007 21:34

We have a couple of those sets too Enid. They are a bit big for out castle really - bigger than the characters it came with, but DD doesn't care. DD loves them
