Dd1 is becoming a proper little artist and is currently obsessed with felt tips.

However dd2 likes to draw all over her hands with them and I can't keep her away as she is like dd1's shadow and wants to join in.

So. Does this wonder product exist or not?

I thank you.

why worry?

are you wanting to hire them out for hand modelling?

Crayola do some..."first MArkers" or soemthing atht a "super-washable". ds has them, and draws all over his hands (and mine, and my arms).

BUT there are only about 10 in a pack and the 'nibs' are very short and rounded (designed to cope with 1 year olds stubbing them into paper) so may not satisfy artistic requirements...

when I say artistic I mean general colouring in . But she is very good and keeps in the lines an everyfin

Capp - because it drives me insane scrubbing it off a beligerent 2 year old who is chuckign water at me

There are definitely some - I think I got some from Asda, but they may have been Crayola. Hmm can't remember what they were but definitely more washable than the Smartprice ones. DS (who is nearly 6 so should manage better) had it all the way up to his elbows on Sunday before we went out and I managed to get it off quite easily.

not sure if you can get them in the UK but crayola do a washable felt tip - brilliant.

Jessajam · 23/01/2007 10:16

see...I'm not sure the stubbiness would lend itself to keeping within the lines...really stubby, would be like colouring in with a worn down lipstick IYKWIM

DS has got some crayola pip-squeaks that say that they are washable on them. They are a bit stubby but he is 3.7 and uses them all the time, fine for colouring in. They do wash off easily, even the black.

thanks, I got some at lunch from WHSmiths that are Crayola and say washable on them so I will hope they are toddler proof as well as suitable for my budding artist .

The packet says Supertips and they don't look too stubby, they had about 3 diff types with various types of tip

God, I am boring myself now
