Help I have just looked at my electricity bill!
We are with ecotricity and have been for the last few years. Never any real problems with them. We pay a fixed amount each month which I thought was about ?30.
Just looked at my last bill properly.
It says previous balance ?364.17
25/11/06 DD 93.05
Same for 27/11 and 25/12
Balance carried forward ?268.34
Am now in complete panic. We don't even use that much electric as we have solid fuel heating, cooking and hot water.
Of course their enquiry lines are shut now. Don't think I will be able to sleep tonight worrying about this.
If we pay on a regular payment scheme and have never missed on how can they suddenly take ?100 per month and still reckon we owe so much!
