Hi,

My daughter who is nearly 6 years old has been asking for a scooter. I have no idea which brands are good ones to look at. Popped into John Lewis to have a look and they are £100+ which is a lot more than I was expecting or maybe that is how much they cost.

Grateful if you could share any positive/negative reviews on scooters your child/children have used.

We got ours from Argos. Probably paid about £40 as it was on offer

Micro brand scooters are worth every penny if you will use them regularly like for school runs. And get a bike lock to lock it up if you get the maxi scooter.

They last years but cheaper brands seem to die quickly. Maybe look for a second hand maxi micro?

Or look at German websites where they are about £80 rather than £100 with free shipping.
