BT home hub versus Sky Connect Broadband?

Sorry to start yet another braodband thread but I'm really struggling getting my head round this one. I've read so much stuff my head is swimming and I've narrowed it down to BT Home Hub (£26.99) or Sky Connect (£5) although virgin (19.99) is also pretty good contender.

Now I am trying to make sense of all I have read.

Both packages ofer 8mb and max 40gb download. Both provide wireless router.

BT: From what I've read this is really really easy to set up which appeals. You also get this hub phone thing although not really sure I need it. But the hub itself meant to be easy to connect printer, xbox etc.

Sky: on the other hand in unbeleivably cheap in comparrison (we are not in right area for their free version). I was thinking of downgrading my basic sky package to freesat though.

Just can't make up my mind so thought I'd check out some expereinces. How easy is it to set up the sky package? What about all the security stuff which the hub supposedly by-passes? Is the home hub worth the extra money?

Many thanks Katherine
