Can anyone recommend a seat for a 19 mth old? Is the rear preferable to being at the front i.e. more stable, when dismounting, etc? Am a complete novice at this but wanting to give it a try...
Thanks

I'd recommend the Co-pilot Limo

It fixes to the rear. We got it for our 7 month old and she's fine in it. Does up until 3 yrs I believe. Very sturdy and safe and you can use it as a seat when you stop for picnics. Easy to remove from bike too. Would advise that you should check your bike first to make sure that it will fit. Although it says that it would fit most bikes, my DH (a bike freak) had got a nice new mountain bike with disc brakes and all the gizmos - seat did not fit because of disc breaks. It is attached to the bike by a Blackburn rack. DH had to saw bits off the rack to ensure a snug fit.
