security blanket/doll toy

Can anyone remember what this was called/know where I can buy one?

I vaguely remember a small baby soft comforter toy which was basically a small blanket material "thing" with a ball on the top which may or may not have had a face embroidered on it. It was a sort of a cross between a doll & a security blanket. I've tried a google search but haven't had much success as I can't remember what they were called.

Any ideas?

Do you mean a Cuski? Although there are other places that sell them. M&S do a similar thing, and ds's came from tchibo.

Cuski! That's it

Thankyouthankyouthankyou

Going to have a quick peek at the others you mentioned too...

if it takes a while to find one you could in the meantime stick a sock in a muslin square and tie a knot around it at the top and draw a little face

forgot to say that the point of them is that they have your scent on them. i put mine in my bra for half an hour before my ds2 goes to sleep - yes it does look a bit strange but anything for a quiet night!

kiddicare are doing the Cuski, but its an addon buy .....! thought jojomamanbebe also did them (but their site is down at the moment...)

Steiff , the posh German cuddly toy manufacturer, do beautiful ones for 20 euros and the delivery charge is very reasonable, too (7 euros I think but you can always get a few more items as gifts etc to spread the cost). Ds is madly in love with his lamb blankie from there! They're machine-washable and can be tumble dried.

aawwwwwwww soooo cute cuski web site .

Dd has always had a hand knitted teddy (unique and 100% irreplacable natch!) Ds chose to have a Muslin cloth, called by him a tiddy. Dead easy to replace tiddys are!

Thanks all Bought from Bump To 3 in the end. Just hope this helps get him off to dreamland!! Not that I'm grasping at any straws going at the moment...

shrub, had to laugh at the image of you wandering around with one sticking out of your bra... then I realised that'll probably be me in a few days time

I made a rabbit by knotting a muslin square. I was gutted that DS2 didn't take to it after my creative efforts. I'm not entirely sure where Muzzy the Muslin Rabbit went actually!
