anyone got wireless sound system?

I'm really tempted by the Philips Streamium - but don't really know much about it.

dh bought one in october. He's really impressed. You can listen to music round the house on the add on units but all your music is stored in the main unit. Bit like a big mp3 player. Its a good idea and i really like it and the sound is good but i'm a bit of a techno numpty so i can just about turn it on and off.

I love the idea that once the CD has been downloaded into the memory you dont need it. However the database does need to be updated now and then once new cds are released or it wont accept them.

Why not go to somewhere like Comet for a demo and then buy off the internet where it is cheaper. Could always find the site where we got ours from.

Is the sound quality good? It wouldn't make any diff to me as music is music is music - but you know what guys are like - copper wire this and gold wire that - to improve sound quality!!

I'm with you one that TK. I think its sounds ok but I wouldn't know if it was bad.

All I can say is when dh get time to listen to anything he seems pleased with it.

Think a demo might be the best way for your dh to make his mind up. They are not cheap and its alot to spend and be disappointed
