The house which we are hoping to buy has an electric AGA fitted - I've read all the archive threads about AGAs and heard about their good/bad points but no one seemed to have an electric one.
Is this because they are hideously expensive to run?
And if so, does anyone know if they can be converted to oil?
(no gas supply to house, but central heating is oil)
