Stair gate - does one exist for these stairs?

Can anyone recommend a stair gate that would fit on our stairs? (see photo).

The problem we seem to have is that on the left we have the bannister and on the right we have the wall but they are not parallel - meaning we either attach something to the bannister (and it doesn't meet the wall) or we attach something to the wall (and it under shoots the bannister).

I can't believe that this is a problem unique to us. Can anyone help?

Can you put one on that door frame to the right of the picture instead?

The ikea one. You get a piece of wood that you glue on the wall and use ties to attach a piece of wood on the bannister side.

We have awkward stairs too, so just have a gate on each of the dds bedroom doors.

It's called PATRULL FAST. I'm in the US do the link would take you to the U.S. site which is not much use to you!

How about one of the pull out material ones they don't need things to be parallel.

I had the exact same problem with needing to fit a stairgate at the top of the stairs which was at an awkward angle.

I got This

It's a massive pain jn the ass to fit but is perfect and could be angled however I needed it. I highly recommend it Smile

The one Fancy linked to is the same design as the ikea one.
