My ds is nearly 7 months and is fast growing out of his rear-facing car seat. We are considering buying a forward facing one for him now. Has anyone researhed into the best/ safest ones or does anyone now the best way to research this??

Any help would be greatly appreciated

If you do a search on Which? you'll find the results of last years tests whcih have been posted on other threads . Their recommendations include Britax Duo Isofix and Maxi Cosi Priori iirc. However these are for babies of a minimum of 9 kg weight and who can support themselves well, usually developmentally at around 9 months. Simply being a bit squashed at 7 months(such as having bent legs) is not recommended in itself to switch him safety wise, he is safer rearwards for as long as possible.

The aim is to do a bit of research ready for when he hits 9kg or 8-9 months. Thanks for the advice
