Does anyone have a late model Seat Alhambra?

We are considering this as our new family car as our Previa is starting to show it's age. We are two adults, two teens and two children ( 10 and 8 years) and two dogs.
It's smaller than we are used to, but unless we go for a van it seems like it's the next best thing.
If you bought one, do you like it?

We bought one last year and have been really pleased with it. Ours was second hand but only a year old when we bought it and just happened to have the highest spec ( not something we would normally have gone for). I think all the extra gizmos and gadgets do make the difference ( electric sliding rear doors and boot plus rear camera etc)

We are only a family of 2 adults and 2 kids (11 &9) and one large ish dog. We only usually have it in 5 seater mode which means we can get our large dog crate in the boot and still have half the boot left over for other luggage.

Ours is a diesel which seems very economic compared to our previous cars.

Should also have said that they are basically VW Sharan's with a different badge and quite a bit cheaper. They are made in the same factory.

Blackbird, could you answer a question about the sliding doors? Can you shut them manually too?
We are looking for a petrol engine which seems hard to find.

Yes you can shut them manually by pulling the handle but they then shut on their own , you don't have to drag it shut, or you can press a button on the key fob or on the dashboard. At least that's on our model, don't know if that is standard.

Btw our model is also one of those that will be recalled for a software fix due to the emissions issue thing. Just something else to be aware of if you're looking for a used one.
