You can have mine, his breath stinks and he's late at least twice a week.

Cashncarry · 09/01/2007 13:54

Saw some humungous ones in TK Maxx just after Christmas..

Fimbo · 09/01/2007 13:55

mosschops30 · 09/01/2007 13:55

Yip, I saw the TK Maxx ones as well - they were huge and really good

mosschops30 · 09/01/2007 14:03

didnt know tk maxx did toys! Might try there as a last resort, do you know if they still have them, I could do without going into town

The Milton Keynes one had four the week after Christmas but they might have gone by now...

Fimbo · 09/01/2007 14:15

My local TK Maxx had them after Christmas. They only have a small toy selection but what they do have is usually quite good, I even managed to get that blessed Stephanie doll that was sold out everywhere in there.

PatTheCuddlyPostman · 09/01/2007 14:17

Where do you live I can pop round

Cashncarry · 09/01/2007 14:23

No thanks - you've got stinky breath (allegedly)

mosschops30 · 09/01/2007 14:26

Postman Pat Soft toy

mosschops30 · 09/01/2007 14:42

flippin marvellous, have you ever used them, are they reputable?

I need it for Thursday, but says mostly deliver next day

OP posts:
Cashncarry · 09/01/2007 14:45

I've not used them but I buy a lot of stuff of not very well-known sites and often follow up my internet order with a phonecall to make me feel better

Good luck...

mosschops30 · 09/01/2007 14:48

i have just phoned them and the woman sounded a bit vague but said if i order and pay over the phone then she can send it parcel force tomorrow for delivery thursday.

Am I protected if I pay by mastercard?

OP posts:
Cashncarry · 09/01/2007 14:53

No idea. I have Barclaycard which protects me from fraud. Could you use a paypal account instead?

mosschops30 · 09/01/2007 14:56

how can i use paypal when ordering over the phone (sorry am shit at this sort of thing) i do have a paypal account but thought I could only use it for ebay?

OP posts:
Cashncarry · 09/01/2007 15:00

oh crap - was doing so well at pretending I knew what I was talking about I've only used paypal once and that was over the internet! could you maybe ring your credit card company and ask them if you're covered by a transaction over the phone?

sorry I'm so rubbish at this sort of thing!!

mosschops30 · 09/01/2007 15:15

No problem - happy to finally join the ranks of helpful MN'ers!!

My DD just turned 2 also - it's such a fun age isn't it? I think we'll be dealing with "brand obsessions" well into teenage birthdays!

mosschops30 · 09/01/2007 15:59

It only gets worse dd is now 10 and I would rather 20 two year olds than her at the moment
