Does it really have to be 4.5? I've asked this before and I'm sure that people said that that was warm enough for a child but can't find on on the high street at this time of yr.Would 9 tog be too hot?

ggirl I bought my ds a 4.5 starter kit from woolies last year after the sales had finished,it came with a pillow as well. Ds hates quilts so it is just right for him. Also mothercare do one as well but its quite expensive. I only paid 8 quid for mine but I think they are about 25 in mothercare.

i think a 4 yr old is old enough to adjust the duvet if they are too hot, or even come through and say so
