i just wanted to flag this up to anyone thinking of buying one:
i recently bought a lumie advance (adult) bodyclock, and a junior version for the kids' room. both v lovely, however;
ds3 (11m) tapped the glass dome on my adult one, and i mean tapped not v hard at all, admittedly with a wooden spoon, as you do, and it smashed into shards... luckily dp and i were both there and we got the kids out of the way and cleaned up the glass but we were both really taken aback at just how easily it broke.
the junior one has a plastic dome, has all the exact same functionality, is quite a bit cheaper...
in short; dont buy the adult one, buy the junior one. i'll be getting another junior one ofr me.
