Tips for buying roof mounted cycle carriers.

As our dc's bikes are getting bigger I'm struggling to get them in the car so want to get a roof mounted system for the car.

I already have roof bars. Can anyone suggest a good system that won't break the bank please?

We have three different ones, and the Thule 591 is by far the easiest to use. Get a folding step to keep in the car as well as it makes life much easier unless you are tall.

We have the same one. Its worth more than some of the bikes Shock we also take a stepladder!
