Help! What are those things for putting in your boots to store them called? and do they sell them in Lakeland?

Trinny & Suzannah recommend them for putting in your boots before you put them away after the winter (not that they are going away any time soon). I am in the middle of an order to Lakeland and figured they would have them but can't think what they are called and can't seem to find them through the search facility.

Anyone know?

not sure that I know what you mean but I just use rolled up newspaper (as per Anthea Turner). Much cheaper I'm sure

Do you mean a shoe tree/horn? Habitat have the most gorgeous silver ones, I got one for my birthday once. this

Boot trees - I got one cheap pair at a discount when I bought some boots but for the others I use rolled-up magazines. Don't think Lakeland have them at the moment (shock horror!)

Blimey www, that should be on display on someone's mantelpiece, never mind stuck in an old pair of shoes.

It's something that keeps the leg bit of long boots padded out. My brown boots keep collapsing over at the ankles in the cupboard and I have a feeling they will look awful by next winter if I don't look after them.

Although mckenzie's Anthea idea sounds like a money saver.

That's the very thing MrsBadger!

Typical that Lakeland don't have them just as I have decided to sort out some storage issues and order some of their clear shoe boxes too.

Thank you all for your help.

Thinking that MrsBadger's rolled up magazine idea might be the one I go for, can put that into operation right away and might just manage to justify my numerous magazine subscriptions!

(they also make interesting reading when the boots come out of the wardrobe next November!)

LOL!
