Boots Teethers recall

Boots have just written to notify me that they're recalling their Penguin & Whale teethers because they contain higher than normal levels of sterilising solution. I always thought these advantage card things were a bit BigBrother-y but I'm all for them now. If you've bought these teethers you should take them back for a refund - they are blueygreen transparent in the shape of a penguin and a whale (surprise surprise).

DS has given up on bespoke teethers, preferring my mobile, the remote control, my thumb knuckle, DD's Little Tikes slide, the legs of his laundry basket, the legs of his Sparkling Symphony, the kitchen table, well anything really apart from teethers, so this recall is all profit for me - woo hoo

Here is the Trading Standards page on it.

And Here is all the other stuff thats been recalled.

Gets my goat as most of the stuff is kiddies stuff from reputable sources.

Ohh yes. There was an ad in the paper about the recall last week,on the very day that dd used her teether for the 1st time.

My local branch of Boots didn't know about it & asked how I'd found out,but they did refund me.

Thanks for the notice. Just dug mine out. Hmm, no big brother notice for me.
