what do i have to do to wipe everything off it? and then do i just take it to the dump? seems a waste but it's had it

There are several charities which send old pcs to africa - put computer and africa into your search engine and have a look.

oh thanks, i think my pc would be too old to be of any use to them really though. i was reading the bbc page about them, mine would be one of the ones the teachers use to stand on to reach the blackboard!
