DAB radios

Just bought one & am stricken to find we can only receive about 8 stations, all local european ones. I realise I may be laughed at & taken for a naïve idiot (so what) but the salesperson told me we could receive UK DAB radio stations. Have I been conned? Should I return it?

Have you checked out what you're supposed to receive - try the bbc website where you can enter your postcode to check? Er, read the instructions?! My DAB radio drives me NUTS because it keeps cutting out all the time....

I checked the PURE website (PURE being the manufacturer's name) but of course they assume that your post code is in the UK.
