Does there exist a pushchair that will fit in the boot of Zafira with the back 2 seats up?

Just thinking ahead. Not talking an umbrella MacLaren type. More substantial that than. Loola maybe?

misdee · 04/01/2007 12:16

pliko pramette possibly.

Ceolas · 04/01/2007 12:18

Is the loola rubbish misdee? Saw you selling yours a while back.

yes, old pliko - we have that in the back of our zafira.

Do you need to use both back seats? we often travel with one down (4 children).

misdee · 04/01/2007 12:21

loola is very heavey. couldnt cope with it myself. seemed heavier in rear mode.

redtent · 04/01/2007 12:24

I have managed to get a phil and teds and a bugaboo behind our seats in the boot (not at the same time!!)

Both need wheels removing etc but they did fit . The phil and teds was easier.

Other than that no tried many smaller ones yet

I think anything with an umbrella fold would do but it doesn't have to be a Maclaren.

Ceolas · 04/01/2007 12:29

Hi MrsB Think we are due about the same time (Aug 25th for me)

This will be number 4. I'm not sure about having one up because we need 3 seats in the middle and that's a big faff with buckles etc. We have 2 highback & boosters and 1 booster atm.

Where can I find good pics of the M&Ps? Their own site seems a bit naff.

It's rubbish, isn't it, esp compared to Bebeconfort etc which have rotating images and zoom and stuff.

Try doing a google image search for the name of the model you like.

NB the Silver Cross 3D looks pretty nice too - can do the pramette-type facing-you thing as well as pushchair.

Ceolas · 04/01/2007 15:02

Silver Cross looks ideal. Judging from the folded dimensions, though I think it would be neat. I guess the only way is to try and see!

The Pliko fits in the boot of my Fiesta if that helps.

Thankfully no need for a twin.

Well I hope not!

Thanks shosha, that's kind of you. Think what I'll do is go along to one of the pram shops and try a few out. We need to make decisions about the car and seats as well as the pram
