and could get one of these

According to website, they are in stock in Leeds, Cardiff, Croydn & Glasgow. We live right near a store but they have none in stock nor could they tell me if any more were coming in - Grrrr.
Happy to pay postage

DS1 has one - it's great as a night light but not bright enough to do anything by IYSWIM. You'll need the energy saving candle bulbs too.

SparklyGothKat · 03/01/2007 16:22

Am going to ikea tomorrow too. What one you going to SD??

Whizzz · 03/01/2007 16:22

Wow - MN is great - now don't squabble girls

DS had his for ages & it matches his space theme room perfectly but it got hit with a toy axe over Christmas (don't ask) and the back split

I'll get one tomorrow if they have indeed got them in stock in Corydon. If not, someone else can go

DS1s has lasted ages too, matches his spacey room well...

Whizzz · 03/01/2007 16:27

It says online that they are in stock near you Soupy.
All the 'helpful customer service lad' could suggest was that we drive 130miles for a £4.50 light

DS has had one for ages too. It's his "getting up light". It is on a timer and he is not allowed to get up before it comes on. DD has a flower one. She is 2 1/2 and when it comes on will lay in bed and shout "mummy my light come on".

DoesntChristmasDragOn · 03/01/2007 16:44

Phone him back and suggest that next time he advise people to log onto Mumsnet and ask someone to fetch one for them!

I don't trust that stock check completely - although these lights always have been in stock before.

Whizzz · 03/01/2007 17:04

I wondered if they were phasing them out as they seem to be out of stock in a lot of the stores

7 am. Actually yorkie I am quite ridiculously proud of this achievement - it is the highlight of my parenting. We can pretty much guarentee that unless one of them has a bad dream (very rare with DS but more common with DD, although she is generally still asleep and crying) or DD's covers come off (she is getting much better at keeping them on) they will both stay in bed 7.30 pm - 7 am.

Also if they have a late night at the weekend I sneak in and turn the switches off. We have got 7 day timers though so I am toying with the idea of a 7.15 start at a weekend.
