Tesco Mobile- does anyone know?

If I bought a tesco mobile phone, could I use my orange sim card in it? (pay as you go)

Mobile went for a swim over xmas when my bottled water leaked in my bag and it then blew up! Sim card is working and I don't want to lose number or tarriff I am on as it has been discontinued!

it would be locked. Depending on the model it would prob only cost about £10 at most to get it unlocked.
