Kindle too big for comfort

My right hand is a bit damaged and holding the kindle for reading in bed hurts my thumb. Is there any device to help with this ?
I'm imagining some sort of catapult-shaped thing to hold the kindle securely, which I could hold without having to stretch my hand. Can't find anything online.
Can't be just me.

Sorry, drip feed ! It actually needs to be some sort of handle, as I have to hold the kindle close to my eyes when
I'm in bed after taking contact lenses out.
Thanks anyway.

I've just found something called handEband that looks about right. Now waiting to hear if I can get one in the UK. It's a small thingy that sticks on the back and you can put two fingers into it.
