good electric toothbrush

help - i have a braun one but it now needs charging permanently to work decently ... any advice on a good make which won't cost £100

sonicare is excellent. Not sure how much it is now but whatever it would be worth every single penny.

How long have you had it for? I think they're like mobile phones in the respect that after a while the batteries go like that.

Agree the batteries do seem to go after a while. I'd expect it to last longer than a year though. It helps, I think, to occasionally run the battery completely flat and then charge it up again - holds the charge better.

i think Boots have some offers on so i will check them out later and see what i can find. I do let my battery run right down but i think it is not a great toothbrush IYSWIM ....

I just have a braun one which was only about £20. Can't remember exactly when I got it. I usually let it die before I remember to charge it
