HELP. I've a 2 year old little boy who's nearly mastered his potty training. He tells me he want's a wee all of the time and never has any wee accidents. However I'm having a major problem with him pooing. THe only place he'll poo are his pants or nappy. He'll tell me as soon as he's done it but he won't tell me before. I even tried rewarding him with a toy when he poos on the loo but he still won't do it. Does anyone have any advice????

I'm sure I remember reading something similar in the Gina Ford interview on Mumsnet. I believe she suggested having a jar of sweeties in sight of the potty to act as a motivator and to put poo in the loo in front of ds/dd if they have an accident so that they get the idea.

How about you get a "treat" if you do a poo - your son might quickly catch on!!

Good luck!
