US style fridge freezer - will it still refridgerate until I can get the plumbing done?

Hello

Anyone know if a US style side-by-side fridge freezer "work" if I don't have the plumbing for it in yet? (Obv the ice maker won't - I just need it to keep the milk cold!)

Moving house next week, need to order the fridge freezer but won't be able to get the plumber to do the necessary extra piping until after that.

Thanks!

Brilliant. Thanks very much. Was envisaging trying to keep the milk etc outdoors to keep it chilled!

I kept the drinks outside over Crimbo too, but didn't fancy leaving food out there attracting the foxes and whatnot.
