E3 Problem ... retailer or manufacturer?

The nib on one side of my toddler seat is jammed about 2/3 way in meaning when I put the seat in it doesn't secure on one side. Can't get it released ... am I best to go direct to P&T's or the UK-based retailer ... and would you expect a replacement or to have to return the seat? BTW it has been like this since day 1 but only became an issue in the last few days when I was putting the buggy in and out of the car multiple times.

Retailer - you've got a contract with them to provide you safe goods fit for their purpose - they should then deal with P&Ts if that's necessary

Thanks Bear ... contacted retailer - seems like a dodgy nib so she's popping one in the mail - can't ask for more than that!
