anyone have a sofa they really love and want to recomend. Need a new sofa-pref either corner thing or v.long. Am dithering as its such a large amount of money but now would be a good time to buy.
Current sofa is tetrad, loose covers for washing and feather so fab soft BUT every time anyone even looks at it, all the cushions need plumping up.
Please help before sales finish

have you seen sofa.com? worth a look oi reckon

we have one knackered and beloved sofabed from Habitat (though this was one of PIL's wedding presents in about 1965) and one old-fashioned beloved leather chesterfield from these people - worth a peek if you're into the old-school look...

the prices on that chesterfield site look v good mrsbadger... are they good quality leather/build?

MrsBadger · 30/12/2006 23:41

they aren't bad at all - the leather is pretty good (still looks just as it did when delivered after two years of hard wear, but will age gracefully when it does)
The costs are cut in places that we don't notice - the frame is glued rather than hand-jointed, seat cushions are foam not feather etc etc, but it definitely looks like more than £500 worth of sofa!

(NB they were recommended to us by a cousin of DH's who'd put about 10 of them in his rental cottages in France)
