Hello all, could anyone recommend a portable / inflatable high chair for travelling with a fairly sturdy and very wriggly 6 month old please?
Cheers.

I think Mothercare does a seat attachment thingy. I actually just have one of those harness wossnames you get from Boots.

(Wow, bet you won't get a more articulate response than that, will you?

At Jo Jo Maman Bebe's you can get the
flip up seat

which is a cheaper (and maybe more practical if it will only be used for holidays!)version of the handysitt
... which we have got... we haven't got the flip up seat but if it is similar to the Handysitt then it is brilliant!!! Folds up flat, light to carry around not too many cracks and crevices so easy to clean.... only thing is that your babe does have to be pretty strong at sitting up, but you said your 6 month old is pretty sturdy so it should be okay....

hope this helps and happy travelling!

We got a Lindam (I think?) one from John Lewis, it straps to a standard adult chair and has a 3 point harness (lap one) and a removeable tray. I think we paid around £19.99.

Actually, it's this one only ours is not in the same colours . I've found it to be a great solution so far (dd will be 2 in August)

I have to point out that the one I linked to can also be put into the dishwasher so it's extra easy to keep clean !

Quite a helpful page from mothercare

My friend has the inflatable travel one, which is really compact but I would advise against it for a 6 month old. It is just not supportive enough.

We have the fold up one - fairly standard - I think we got ours from ToysRUs although I think it's made by Safety First. It's got a 3 point harness and a detachable tray which I think is helpful especially with a younger baby as you might not want them to put their sticky hands on the tablecloth! Very useful, folds up to carry around and totally washable - in dishwasher or otherwise.

Thanks for all the responses! I had seen the inflatable travel one, but not sure about suitability for 6 month old, so will leave that one I think.
Will check out the Lindam one and the flip up seat and also have a look round Mothercare again.
Thanks again.

Like I say fd, my friend has the blow up one and I agree that it isn't supportive enough for a littlie

Have you looked at the Handysitt from Urchin?
