Where to get rollerblades?

My dd1 has asked for rollerblades for her 9th birthday in three weeks.

She's got size 4-5 feet (!) and prefers boyish styles over girly ones. Argos have some cheap ones, but I'd prefer to be able to see them and try them on before buying. On the other hand, I don't want to spend a fortune, as I don't know whether she will actually get into the whole rollerblading thing.

Any recommendations?

i've got a pair in my garage that have been barely worn, size 5.

where do you live? not worth posting them too heavy

Live in London.

Why did they not get worn? Is it a bad idea altogether?
